JavaScript is a powerful scripting language that can be directly embedded into HTML web pages. It is used extensively within web pages to add interactivity, control the browser and generate dynamic HTML as well as create effects such as roll-over buttons. The JavaScript language is syntactically similar to C, or JAVA with similar structures. This course takes users from the basics of extending HTML pages with JavaScript and controlling embedded objects in a web pages to dynamically creating HTML with Server-side JavaScript using web server applications.
