Starting with Gulp

Study 365

Overview

Gulp refers to an open-source JavaScript task runner that was introduced by Fractal innovations and GitHub. Gulp is a toolkit designed to automate time-consuming tasks in your development workflow, so you can stop focusing on the boring, repetitive ‘to dos’ and get back to building. It makes the development processes simple and efficient, with a quality ecosystem ensuring plugins stay simple and work as expected. Its intended use is for JavaScript builds and front end web development, and it uses a code-over-configuration approach.

Gulp is considered as one of the most effective build tools in JavaScript that is used to automate development tasks. Mastering the features of this tool will help you win a reputable and high paying job position in the IT or programming field. This course was designed for developers who want to enhance their workflow. This diploma in Starting with Gulp will teach you about what a build system is and what Gulp can do for you. You will also be trained on how to install and configure gulp according to your own needs and on pre-processing SASS, automating your builds, the watch function and the live re-load function through this diploma.
