Psychosocial Interventions for Practice
Waterford Institute of Technology
The course is designed to allow health and social care professionals to develop the requisite knowledge, skills and understanding to safely and appropriately apply psychosocial interventions into their everyday work. The programme is open to professionals who provide psychosocial and therapeutic interventions as part of their day to day work and may be of particular interest to nurses, midwives, psychologists and social care workers.
Course participation is agreed with the line manager who confirms that the placement is appropriate to allow the student the opportunity to develop their skills, allowing for reflection on their experiences, a key element of the programme.

Entry Requirements | Completed application forms should be signed by the learner and endorsed by the line manager. Once you have been accepted onto the programme, you will be sent a registration link via email. The programme will have Category 2 approval from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland. |
