Management – Craft

This exciting and innovative programme provides an opportunity for FS or equivalent graduates of all trades disciplines to study for a BSc in Management (Craft). The programme will provide a range of practical business and management skills as well as the skills development of the student in their own professional craft. The programme will broaden and deepen the understanding and competence of the qualified craftsperson through the development of a reflective practice mindset in the student.
The programme will be offered by a combination of web-based learning modules backed up by tutorial sessions and traditional classroom-based lectures. There will also be a work-based learning project in which the student will get the opportunity to implement the theory into the workplace.

Entry Requirements | Applicants require an NFQ Level 6 Award, or equivalent, for entry to this programme. All applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Lifelong Learning reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme. |
Career Path | On completion of this programme, students will be eligible to apply for progression to a programme leading to an Honours Bachelor Degree (Level 8) or to a Higher Diploma (Level 8). |
