Japanese Yoga – All Levels

Japanese yoga is therapeutic form of yoga based on the principles of Traditional Chinese and Japanese Medicine. Juliet teaches a style of Japanese yoga called Zen Ki Yoga®.

In Japanese yoga the poses change according to the season and target specific organs of the body. There is a strong emphasis on building core and back strength and also a focus on flexibility, the mind-body connection, breathing and relaxation. Japanese yoga can be beneficial for many chronic conditions including back pain, digestive issues, reproductive issues, weight gain, anxiety and depression.

This class is suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Variations to poses are provided to allow students to work within their own limits. Please wear loose clothing and bring a mat and a blanket.
