ITEC level 2 Introduction to Make Up Artistry

DESCRIPTION: Those looking to enter the make-up industry at a professional level, specializing in Bridal and Occasion Make-Up. Through both lecture style learning and demonstration/practical experience, students gain an Itec Level 2 Certification in Apply Make- Up, Unit 803.

DURATION: We offer 3 different course sittings, to suit all work schedules.All the same amazing curriculum.

OUTLINE: Make-Up genres covered in this 2 Week intensive course include Day make-up, Bridal looks, Special Occasion, Mature, and Evening looks.

CONTENT: Students will be shown how to create flawless camera-ready make up, with emphasis on technique and skill building. This course will equip students with knowledge on Skin Analysis/Skincare, Consultation techniques, and Business Overview.

-Tools of the trade, Brush usage and Hygiene practices.
-Colour theory
-Perfecting Bases and colour corrections
-Contouring and Hghlighting Techniques
-Brow Shaping
-Varied Eyeshadow shapes, application and blending techniques
-Individual Lash Application

-Glitter and Trends in make up
-Natural/Media Make Up
-Bridal Make Up
-Mature Make Up
-Occasion Make Up Application
-Evening Make Up Application
-Winged Smoky Make Up Application
-Working with Colour
-Lip Applications
– Research and Brief Development through Moodboards and Face Charts
-Understanding Lighting Effects, and Translating Make Up for Camera.

2 Professionally shot Photoshoots are included in the course fee, as are professional models.
Students will sit both a Practical and Written Itec Examination at the end of their course, to attain an Itec Level 2 Certificate.

SCHEDULES:
1) 2 week’s full time – Tuesday – Saturday 10.30 am – 5.30 pm
2) Part time over 10 weeks – Monday’s 10.30 am – 5.30 pm.
3) Evenings over 20 weeks – Wednesday evenings 6.00 pm – 9.30 pm.

COST: €1800.00. Includes all Examination Fees, Photoshoots, Uniform, Student Kit and Brushes. Affordable payments available. Minimum deposit of €300.00 once application is successful.
We do accept grants.

HOW TO APPLY: Please download and complete application form to enter Round 1 of applications.
If successful, you will move onto Round 2 and have an interview to meet with your prospective Tutors.As places are strictly limited to 12, so please apply early.

NOTE: All products are supplied for students to use in class time. We also run a Work Experience Programme with the Pro Team for Ireland, to further to support our student’s gaining employment in the industry.
