Diploma in Bookkeeping & Payroll – September 2021

Students will have acquired skills in bookkeeping & payroll to aid them in developing a career in finance and HR. Students can develop their skills in this in-demand area to give them new opportunities.

Topics covered include: Key terminology associated with payroll records, Process the payroll for employees, The positives and negatives of a computerised system for payroll processing purposes, The positives and negatives of a manual system for payroll processing purposes, Examine emergency and temporary tax systems and the cumulative tax system, Examine changes in personal tax due to various factors, Preparing all necessary tax forms for employees, Preparing all necessary returns and tax forms for the Revenue Commissioners.

This course runs three times per year, January, April & September. This course can be completed in class and online.
