This evening course aims to bridge the gap between the theoretical and reality. It marries fundamental theory to what is actually happening in the markets today. It explains the reasons behind market movements and the effect and implications they have for investors, traders and market participants.
The part-time course explains how to evaluate investment opportunities and obtain and interpret financial data. It explains the various options available to investors and traders today including investor psychology, tax and financial planning, derivatives and risk management. Students will also hear from traders, brokers and analysts from top local and international investment banks.
This course appeals to a wide range of individuals interested in capital markets, investment and/or trading.

Entry Requirements | Mature Students - If you are 23 years or over from the 1st January of this year, you can apply for this course directly using the College’s online application form. A member of the College’s admissions team will be in touch to discuss your course entry requirements. Under 23 Years - Two Honours Level, Grade C3s or above and four Ordinary Level D3s in your Leaving Certificate (subjects to include Maths and a language) or equivalent exam taken. Appropriate work experience/ knowledge within a Capital Markets, Investment & Trading environment. |
