This Desktop Publishing course combines basic desktop publishing skills and graphics design principles with the specifics of how to use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat to create visual communications. It will teach users how to harness the power of these packages to develop different types of documents from simple flyers to newsletters. You will learn how to package your document for print to get the most from the final design.
This evening course assumes no previous knowledge of the software. It aims to enable delegates to be able to produce a broad range of documents including newsletters, product leaflets, adverts, posters and sales material for either internal use or for commercial printing. At the end of the course participants will have a good knowledge of the various tools and features.

Entry Requirements | Mature Students - If you are 23 years or over from the 1st January of this year, you can apply for this course directly using the College’s online application form. A member of the College’s admissions team will be in touch to discuss your course entry requirements. Under 23 Years - 5 Ordinary Level, Grade D3s or above in your Leaving Certificate (subjects to include Maths and a language) or equivalent exam taken. All applicants must be a user of Microsoft Office. |
