Each class is delivered on the Zoom platform and is live and interactive.

For many years Dublin Camera Club hosted the best photography course in the city.  Now in the light of the COVID 19 pandemic we have adapted our course to deliver the same top class content online while managing to maintain the personal attention which has been a feature of the our classes over the years, still offering terrific value for money at €120 for the course.

The course will comprise on-line classes delivered live by experienced members of the club, they will  allow for Q&A sessions during the classes and will also comprise small group practical sessions which will be held mainly outdoors, COVID Permitting.  We will also allocate an experienced photographer & member of the club as your mentor for the duration of the classes.  You will be able to discuss issues with your mentor, send images to him/her for suggestions as to how to improve and you will have the practical sessions with your tutor.

Dublin Camera Club now offers a live on-line Introduction to Photography Course comprising nine weekly on-line modules delivered by experienced members of the club.

The course is a general introduction to photography and is suitable for both absolute beginners and people with a little basic photographic knowledge.

Each class commences at 7.30pm and finished approximately 9.00pm

Membership of the club is open to anyone with an interest in Photography – even those with little of no expertise.  Join and learn or take classes.  Membership for one year is half price when you take the classes.   To register click here

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the normal activities of the club have in the main gone on line, others are temporarily suspended.

• Weekly club meetings – each Tuesday at 8pm via Zoom
• Lecture meetings every Tursday at 8pm – via Zoom
• Two fully equipped darkrooms,  currently suspended
• A fully equipped studio,  currently suspended
• The Eddie Chandler exhibition gallery,  currently suspended
• Workshops, separate for beginners and for more advanced members – via Zoom
• Numerous social events,  currently suspended
