Tim Carmon, an experienced keyboard player, drummer, vocalist, producer and graduate of the Duke Ellington School of Arts, demonstrates how to use B4 II Virtual Organ software. In this B4 II Virtual Organ tutorial, Tim demonstrates how to use the B4 II software that emulates the classic Hammond B3 and its rotary speaker cabinet. With a new and improved interface and more authentic sound, this virtual organ has award-winning performance. You will be exposed to an extended array of features like B3 drawbars, vibrato, chorus, tube distortion and rotary speaker cabinet that make this a versatile tool.

Course Duration:

Method of Assessment:

At the end of the course, you will have one assignment to be submitted (you need a mark of 65% to pass) and you can submit the assignment at any time. You will only need to pay £19 for assessment and certification when you submit the assignment. You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days if you have successfully passed.

Presenter Information: 

In addition to playing keyboards, multi-talented Tim Carmon is also known as a drummer, vocalist, and producer with credits that range from albums to film arrangements to live performances. He is a graduate of the Duke Ellington School of Arts. A few of the artists he has worked with include Eric Clapton, Babyface, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Queen Latifah, Marcus Miller, Sheryl Crow, Bob Dylan, Gladys Knight. B.B. King, Jamie Foxx, Earth, Wind and Fire, Carlos Santana, Herbie Hancock and Mary J. Blige, Most recently, Tim contributed arrangements and playing piano/keys for the major motion picture “Dreamgirls” where he worked with the production team, The Underdogs, and he is also lending his musical talents to the revival of “Lady Sings the Blues”, the autobiography of Billie Holiday. He has a number of production credits to his name including Vibes “Knock Me Off My Feet” and Solid Rock Christian Choirs “Live in D.C.”. Tim worked with Eric Clapton on MTVs Unplugged and joined Erics touring band for the 1998 Pilgrim Tour and recently Tim was on the road with Eric for the 2006/2007 World Tour as well as Claptons Crossroads festival. Tim’s Phunky Boy Productions is currently working with a stable of artists on upcoming releases and projects for film and television. In addition, Tim has also been working on his debut as a solo recording artist with a soon-to-be-released album project.
