This Youth and Community Work QQI accredited course is a one year, full-time programme.
This Youth Work & Community Studies course is designed for those who would like to pursue a career in the youth and community sector, working with young people in a range of community based settings.
This QQI Level 5 programme provides students with an understanding of youth work practice and the role of the youth worker, exploring the current challenges facing young people and those working in the field.
Course Features and Facilities
- Work experience forms an integral part of the course where students receive hands on practical skills within a range of youth and community settings
- This course focuses on the personal and social issues that impact on young people in modern Irish society and their communities such as social exclusion, youth culture, family breakdown, and addiction.
