How does the practice of Yoga differ from other physical activities?

  • It is through the awareness of our inner breath that Yoga helps bring ease to our bodies. It can release stress and bring a sense of ease to our troubled minds. Using breathing techniques together with movement, Yoga nurtures both strength and flexibility for our bodies. This enables us to find our own source of courage to help us face the difficulties and stresses in these modern times.
  • Whether you are a golfer, a walker, a cyclist or engage in any activity, the energy that we can release from our hips, through the practice of yoga, can bring a change to how freely you can move in these activities.
  • Kevin has taught Yoga 4 Men in Tallaght & Dunboyne & The Healthy Way, Leixlip and the positive response and feedback from these men has highlighted the need for men’s Yoga classes.
