The NRV-10 allows you to return multiple discrete audio channels from your computer to the NRV-10 for CPU-free mixing and monitoring complete with on-board digital effects that are great for live performances. Flexible monitoring options make vocal/instrument recording and DJ-style audio previewing simple. During this tutorial you will realize that the NRV10 (M-Audio) is a new breed of gear that combines an 8×2 analogue mixer and a 10×10 24-bit/96kHz digital audio interface in one convenient package. With the training you receive and this excellent hardware it combines into the perfect tool for computer-based recording and performance.

Course Duration:

From the day you purchase the course, you will have 12 months access to the online study platform. As the course is self-paced you can decide how fast or slow the training goes, and are able to complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time.

Method of Assessment:

At the end of each module, you will have one assignment to be submitted (you need a mark of 65% to pass) and you can submit the assignment at any time. You will only need to pay £19 for assessment and certification when you submit the assignment. You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days if you have successfully passed.

Presenter Information:

Jeff Dykhouse has been actively involved in audio engineering for more than 20 years. He has been a user of computer-based recording systems from their inception. Jeff’s diverse career has earned him gold and platinum awards (RIAA). Many of Jeffs endeavours have been within the Praise & Worship genre, where he has worked with top artists such as Paul Baloche, Crystal Lewis, Kevin Prosch and The Violet Burning. Additional clients include corporations such as RCA, Apple Computer, NBC and Charles Schwab. Jeff owns and operates a recording facility and systems design company in Temecula, CA.
