The aim of this online training course is to provider learners with the skills, knowledge and competency to enable them to set up database systems, make sure those systems operate efficiently, and regularly store, back up, and secure data from unauthorized access, design and implement a data warehouse; extract, transform and load data, configure and deploy SSIS solutions and build data quality solutions.
The Microsoft SQL Server 2012 course prepares learners for the MCP 70-461, 70-462 and 70-463 examinations which if passed, earns the individual the MCSA SQL Server 2012 award. However, some learners may prefer to take any or all sections of the exam separately.
Learners who choose this course should have completed the MTA exams in FNCN 94 (exam no: 98-364: Database Fundamentals).

Professional Education: Candidates for the MCSA SQL Server 2012 certification should have completed eCollege FNCN 94 course (Changing Career to the IT Sector) course and passed the exam no: 98-364: Database Fundamentals Learners should be (IT) Professionals who are ETL and data warehouse developers and who are seeking to validate their skills and knowledge. Aptitude: Good verbal and written communication skills are desirable. A working knowledge of Windows 7 from administrative, support, and architectural perspectives. Personal Skills: An analytical approach to problem solving and decision making is essential. Good diagnostic skills. Self motivated, ability to work on ones own and complete tasks to a deadline. Willingness to actively communicate with others in an online environment. Previous Experience: Experience in using web based learning is an advantage.
