Method of Assessment:

At the end of the course, learners will take an online multiple choice question assessment test (please be aware, this is not the official exam). The online test is marked straight away, so you will know immediately if you have passed the course.

Please Note: Microsoft has announced the withdrawal of this exam on the 31 of March 2019. Therefore, now is the right time for you take this exam to add it to your resume.

Certification:

Successful candidates will be awarded a certificate for Microsoft 70-697: Configuring Windows Devices (Windows 10).

Recommended experience:

This exam validates a candidate’s fundamental knowledge and skills for building solid identities, protection of content (data loss protection), mobile device management policy, virtualisation with Hyper-V, application management using the Company Portal and the Windows Store. Candidates will be evaluated on Windows 10 security and integrated Azure features.

In addition to their professional experience, candidates who take this exam should already have the following technical knowledge:

  • Experience with Windows desktop administration, maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Basic experience and understanding of Windows networking technologies
  • Introductory-level knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Intune

Candidates can take this exam and meet the prerequisites by obtaining equivalent knowledge and skills through practical experience as a Windows device support technician or a Windows device system administrator.
