Students will learn how to:
- use and understand medical terminology,
- understand relevant legislation,
- manage healthcare records,
- create healthcare records,
- administer a medical office environment, and
- prepare medical reports.
The course will be ideal for all those working in:
- Administration or customer service roles within Private Consultant clinics, Hospitals, Doctor or Dentist surgeries, and private Health Clinics or
- Learners who have studied Healthcare Support Major Award – 5M4339 and wish to add a new skillset to their qualification.
- Other learners working towards a major qualification of which Medical Terminology is a component including – Office Administration Major Award – 5M1997.
