Overview

HTML or Hyper Text Mark-up Language is the language used for presenting websites and web content. HTML was initially developed by Tim Berners- Lee in the year 1990. HTML is regarded as the standard programming language to create webpages and web applications, it also allows developers to create, present and edit a whole variety of content on the web. Certain snippets of HTML codes can be used to create desired aspects in an existing page. The latest version of HTML is the HTML5 which was made official by the World Wide Web Consortium in 2014 and it modifies the default HTML in order to allow the creation of more modern websites.

HTML is perceived as the language of web and is an essential programming language in web and application development. Method of assessment

At the end of the course, you will have one assignment to be submitted (you need a mark of 65% to pass) and you can submit the assignment at any time. You will only need to pay £19 for assessment and certification when you submit the assignment. You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days if you have successfully passed.
