Health & Safety in the Workplace – Level 2

Overview

The Health & Safety in the Workplace – Level 2 course will focus on workplace risks and hazards, and why it is vital that health and safety measures are implemented to keep employees safe. The course will cover the basic fundamentals of health and safety and how to safeguard the workplace with the right health and safety policies. It is a comprehensive course that will teach learners on occupational health, why they should report hazards, and how to monitor and maintain a safe workplace.

The Health & Safety in the Workplace – Level 2 course will cover key features such as the importance of health and safety policies, how to create a safe workplace, how to avoid compromising on health and safety, conducting risk assessments, how to avoid accidents, manual handling of operations regulations, learning first aid and understanding fire safety in case of accidents and emergencies

Learners who have completed the Level 1 course can progress to the Health & Safety in the Workplace – Level 2 course. It is the responsibility of the employer to keep their workplace environment safe so that their employees’ health and safety are in no way compromised or put at risk. Individuals will gain a comprehensive understanding of health and safety rules and regulations applied in workplaces in the United Kingdom.

Method of Assessment

At the end of the Health & Safety in the Workplace – Level 2 you will be evaluated through an online multiple choice exam. In order to complete this program successfully and gain your professional qualification.

Those who successfully complete the course will be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. It will make you valuable to employers, and your motivation at gaining new skills will be recognised.
