Meet your new guitar teacher, James Darcy!! I have been playing guitar for 15 years and have been teaching for about 10 years to people of many ages, abilities and styles. My goal for you as a beginner in this course is to get you comfortable with the instrument within a 10 week timeframe where you’ll be learning basic chords, rhythm patterns and a selection of songs. You’ll be learning in a relaxed, fun and productive environment from an extremely patient and passionate tutor.

I began playing the guitar at the age of 8 and have picked up many different styles of music along the way including blues, rock, jazz, funk, country, fusion and pop.

I hold a BA Honours Degree in Commercial Modern Music where I obtained a lot of experience and knowledge on guitar techniques, styles and theory.
