GDPR Awareness Briefing

This half-day online GDPR Awareness Briefing is similar in content to the one day Introduction to Data Protection and GDPR. It is aimed at people who are not directly involved in the processing of personal data but who should have a high-level working knowledge of GDPR.
Upon completion of the GDPR Awareness Briefing, participants will:
- Understand the why of data protection
- Demonstrate some understanding of data protection requirements under the GDPR
- Appreciate their indirect role in data protection
- Project GDPR Gap and Compliance Analysis
This GDPR Awareness Briefing will cover the following areas:
- GDPR Context
- Scope of GDPR
- The 7 Data Protection Principles
- Key People and Roles
- Sanctions and Compensation, Offences and Liability
This is a half-day online briefing that will run from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm on scheduled dates. It will be remotely delivered through MS Teams and facilitated by subject matter experts.
