This short part-time course is part of our popular Fashion Buying & Merchandising course. Once complete you can choose to progress onto the Fashion Buying Module or the Visual Retail Display module. All modules together make up the complete Fashion Buying & Merchandising course which sets the foundations for a successful career in either Fashion Buying or Merchandising within the fast paced retail sector.
In this module you will learn the skills essential to becoming a fashion buyer, not only will you learn to understand the buying cycle we will also look at the fashion forecasts for the coming year, covering the shows in London and New York and analysing the trends that emerge from them. You will also develop your ability to design and plan a range of clothes. This course is a wonderful opportunity to satisfy an interest in fashion or to take the first steps necessary to having a career in fashion.
