This course will provide learners with the appropriate skills and knowledge essential for devising marketing strategies and techniques within a business environment. It explores the relationship between an organisation’s strategy, its culture, marketing and communications policies and procedures within the business environment. The structure of the course ensures that participants are able to develop their academic knowledge and practical marketing skills. This course, which is divided into four modules, is designed to provide a practical grounding in the skills of marketing and management.
Learners will be introduced to the main marketing and management theories along with providing a practical understanding of all the key digital marketing channels. Each module will provide a conceptual and practical platform for participant learning. Learners will furthermore be encouraged to draw on their own experience as this will help them to develop a clearer understanding of the following modules.

Entry Requirements | Mature Students - If you are 23 years or over from the 1st January of this year, you can apply for this course directly using the College’s online application form. Under 23 Years - Two Honours Level, Grade C3s or above and four Ordinary Level D3s in your Leaving Certificate (subjects to include Maths and a language) or equivalent exam taken. All applicants must be a user of Microsoft Office. |
Career Path | Participants who successfully complete and pass assignments/examinations for these modules may be eligible for advanced entry to the BA (Hons) in Business Studies degree course through the College policy of Advanced Prior Learning (APL). |
