Overiew

The Diploma in Disinfection Basics at QLS Level 3 course is designed to cover the fundamental principles of water disinfection.  Disinfection refers to the process of cleaning something, especially with a chemical, in order to destroy or control bacteria and viruses. Not all bacteria and viruses can be destroyed by disinfection. However, it can be used to control bacteria and viruses from spreading. Disinfection method is mostly practiced within hospitals, households, collection systems and in public health. Disinfection can be used for various purposes within these sectors, however, the goal of destroying and controlling bacteria and viruses remain the same.
