Delivered by the Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences (ICHAS), the Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Skills and Practice is a foundation-level counselling skills course. It serves as an excellent introduction to the area of counselling, and teaches general counselling skills that will benefit people in both their personal and professional lives, particularly those who work with the public regularly.
This part-time Certificate in Counselling Skills and Practice is designed for (a) those who have little or no professional experience but wish to extend their knowledge of interpersonal and counselling skills prior to undertaking more advanced educational training in counselling at Degree level and (b) healthcare professionals, teachers, social workers, managers, customer services, sports coaches and others who wish to increase their interpersonal counselling skills and apply them within their personal or professional daily lives.
This course is delivered by Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences (ICHAS) which will take place in Griffith College Dublin. Participants will receive a single subject award on successful completion of assignments.
