Online Creative Bookbinding
Crumlin College of Further Education (CDETB)
Introduction to Bookbinding is open to students of all levels interested in bookbinding and making their own personalised book or folder. By the end of the course, students of all Levels will have learned:
- how to set up a basic book-binding station at home
- how to make from scratch a hard back book, cover and book-block
- how to choose, design and make a cover of your choice (using hard card, fabric, paper, fold over leather, ribbons, etc..)
- how the above techniques can be applied to create notebooks, artists sketchbooks, gifts and portfolios.
- Kit purchased directly from teacher, approx €30 inc P&P
