A Bachelor of Science in Computing that will prepare you with specialist knowledge, skills and competence to meet the future needs of the ICT Industry.
You will develop the knowledge, skills and understanding of software engineering, operating systems, mathematical foundations and techniques, computer networks, cyber security, networking and social and professional issues.
You will have highly sought after skills and a solid technical foundation in software development, computer programming, cyber security and computer networks with the ability to creatively apply computer and related technologies such as web design and mobile applications to practical ICT and inter-related business challenges.

Entry Requirements | Under the new Common Points Scale for Leaving Certificate 2020 applicants must obtain a minimum of 5 O6/H7, including a language and a minimum of O6/H7 in Mathematics. A QQI level 5 Major Award in Information Technology. International Applicants, who have not applied for access through the CAO, must furnish an equivalent qualification that is certified by NARIC Ireland. English Language Requirements Candidates whose first language is not English are required to meet the admission criteria of IELTS 6.0 / B2+ CEFR or equivalent and hold the International Equivalent to Leaving Certificate. Mature Applicant (i.e. over 23 and older) Applications will be individually assessed in order to determine suitability through the Dorset College ‘Recognition of Prior Learning Policy’ |
