This exams package has been introduced to help you achieve a couple of highly recognised and demanded qualifications in IT governance that could easily boost your career prospects. The COBIT® 5 foundation and assessor exam qualifications will open up various employment and progression opportunities and is ideal if you are involved in the assurance, security, risk, privacy/compliance or the management of information and IT systems of an organisation. The foundation exam will cover the knowledge and skills needed to use COBIT® 5 to reduce risks and improve business performance, whereas the assessor exam will focus on your expertise in implementing process assessment and analysing results to come up with clear outcomes for process capabilities

Global Edulink, as an Accredited Examination Organisation (AEO), will now allow you to easily take the COBIT® 5 foundation and COBIT® 5 assessor exams to enhance your qualifications. The main aim of this exams package is to test your knowledge and skills in the COBIT® 5guidance, principles and models to govern and manage an organisation’s internal information systems and technology. This exam will also evaluate if you are competent enough to guide implementation activities and to drive value to your organisation. By listing these two certificates in your resume, you will be able to successfully demonstrate your knowledge and skills on IT governance and on COBIT governance to potential employers.

Who is this Exam aimed at?

This exams package is aimed at IT professionals involved in the assurance, security, risk, privacy/compliance and the management of information and IT systems

Method of assessment

The format for the foundation exam is as follows:

• Multiple Choice format
• 50 questions per paper
• 25 mark or more required to pass (out of 50 available) – 50%
• 40 minute duration
• Closed book

The format for the assessor exam is as follows:

• Objective testing
• 8 questions per paper with 10 marks available per question
• 40 marks or more required to pass (out of 80 available) – 50%
• 2 ½ hours duration
• Open book, Using COBIT 5 books only. (‘COBIT 5 Assessor Guide: Using COBIT 5’ and ‘COBIT Process Assessment Model’)

Certification

Successful learners will be awarded the COBIT® 5 Foundation exam certificate and the COBIT® 5 Assessor exam certificate
