The foundation exam qualification is the first level and the professional exam qualification is the second higher of the ISO 14001 certification scheme provided by PeopleCert. However, the professional qualification is the first level to achieve the Auditor or the Consultant level certificate, as after successfully completing the exam, you can get an additional certificate based on the supplemental of the achieved certificate ((PeopleCert’s ISO 19011 or PeopleCert’s ISO 10019 plus a Personal Attributes Assessment Test).

This exams package mainly tests your knowledge on the ISO 14001 standards and its requirements. However, it will also evaluate if you are competent enough to manage the immediate and long term environmental impacts of a product, service or process. By listing these two certificates in your resume, you will be able to successfully demonstrate your knowledge and skills on environmental management systems and the ISO 14001 standards to the interested parties.
