Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET)

Course Description:

• The level 4 Certificate in Education and Training qualification will meet the needs of a range of teachers and trainee teachers who would like to gain a qualification which focuses on practical teaching.
• To be awarded the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, learners must achieve a minimum of 36 credits: 21 credits from the mandatory units and a minimum of 15 credits from the optional units. Through this course you will study 5 mandatory units and selected optional unit/s cover 15 credits from followings.

Method of Assessment:

This course is assessed by written assignment, learners must complete several written assignments and teaching sessions, which can be submitted on recorded video (the number of written/practical assignments you will need to complete depends upon which optional units you choose). All assignments must be submitted to the online portal within six months of the course start.

Additionally, £379 (Inc. VAT) is charged for your assessment and certificate. You need to pay this when you are submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially when you are registering). This payment can be paid in installments when you are submitting your assessments.

Certification:

Successful candidates will receive a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training from Pearson BTEC, who is recognised by equal and Department for Education and Skills.
