| Entry Requirements | Age Requirements: Minimum school leaving age i.e. 16 years of age. Professional Education: Applicants who are over 21, are considered as mature students and there are no entry requirements. For those under 21 the following entry requirements apply: Leaving Certificate with five passes in Ordinary Level papers. (Passes to include English/ and either Mathematics or Accountancy) Aptitude: Good verbal and written communication skills are desirable. Accuracy in the use of numbers. Appropriate aptitude tests may be applied. Previous Experience: Previous experience in book-keeping and / or accountancy desirable. Experience in using web based learning is an advantage. |
