Career Opportunities
A social care qualification will equip you for a career in social care work whilst also developing skills relevant to various other social care courses. Some of the jobs within your reach upon completion are a social care worker, a community welfare officer, a community worker or community development worker, a counsellor and a youth worker to name a few.
You could also work in residential care centres, probation and welfare agencies, hostels for the homelessness, women’s refuges, special schools, centres for asylum seekers, centres for the elderly and LGBT support services.
