According to UCAS data, the number of international students applying to study at UK universities has increased. According to UCAS statistics, there has been a 9% increase in international applications over the previous year.

The number of international applicants is 37,310 ahead of the start of courses in 2021. This is an increase from 34,310 in 2020 and 33,360 in 2019.

This is fantastic news for UK universities, which will be welcoming new international and national students in the coming weeks as normalcy returns for the first time in the academic year since the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted.

International students studying at UK universities will also be eligible for a free Covid-19 vaccination.

Certain universities, such as Kingston University, UWE Bristol, and the University of Stirling, have also opened vaccination clinics on campus to encourage students to get their vaccines and to make the service more convenient.

Almost all applicants for university degrees in the United Kingdom must apply through UCAS. If you want to apply for a course in 2022, you can find the necessary information on the UCAS website.

UCAS also reported a 56% decline in accepted applicants from EU countries on August 10, with numbers falling from 22,430 in 2020 to 9,820 in 2021.
